My guest (Hugh) arrives tomorrow.

I really here because of Hugh. He booked his visit when I was in Panama and the extra dollars led me to the Marquesas as opposed to Hawaii for work.

He is bringing me a new VHF, rigging, and hopefully he can bring my radar pole, it’s 8 feet long. Air France told him they had issues with it as checked baggage because of it’s length. I don’t know why the box should be around the same size as a set of skies and smaller then a long board. Airlines have gotten funny since 911, haven’t they?

I saw Cassy yesterday. Sora pulled into the anchorage to check in, but I think they’re leaving today or tomorrow. We spoke for a couple hours and caught up on each others lives since Panama.

Aki is taking our local friends out for a sail today. I’m going to hang back and do some laundry and clean the boat.
