I went shopping for produce yesterday.

I’ll eat the pineapples and oranges first. The Bananas will ripen in 2 stages; I’ll dry them as they are ready. I also bought a sack of 20 husked coconuts (should last 2 months), a big bag of onions, a big bag or red potatoes, 100 limes, and a bunch of red peppers. I have more food then I know what to do with. Produce is very affordable here; all this stuff was under twenty-five bucks.

I shot a small video this morning click here to watch it.

I didn’t want to stop at Contadora but I’ll have to. I cleaned the prop today and will have to give the bottom a good wipe down. There is also a small reef growing on the bottom of the dinghy. The water is really nasty here and I don’t want to spend any time in it.

In the morning I’m going to go buy a 40 foot piece of rigging cable. I wasn’t going to get it in order to save money, but not having it, and needing it would really “bite the big one”. I wanted to go with about a grand in my stash but will have closer to eight hundred, things could be worse right?

Namaste is heavier then she has ever been. Speed will not be something that we enjoy for a while but hell I have all the time in the world right?

Cheers everyone, tomorrow will be a grand day for me, it’s time.

Peace, Love, and 20 Coconuts!

Alex
