It’s nearly impossible for me to receive weather fax because I get so much electrical interference from my nav-computer. I spent the day rewiring my SSB and the computer at the nav-station. I feel like I’m taking one step forward and 2 steps back. I got a mini jack wired into the SSB and connected to the computer, but then the damn hard drive crashed on the computer and I had to spend the day putting in a new operating system and searching for drivers.
Anyway, after I rerouted the wiring for the nav-computer it doesn’t interfere with the SSB and I get a clear signal. I should get clear weather fax pictures now.
I still don’t have my satellite email up and running, I’m hoping for Monday.
