Happy New Year everyone.
I’m so excited to be gearing up for the Pacific this year. I love Panama but it’s time to move on and explore new horizons.
If there is one thing I’ve learned on this trip, it’s that the joy comes from my journey, not my destinations. The rainy season is over and the sun is shining brightly on me. 2006 was fantastic! I made wonderful friends, sailed my beautiful boat, and grew another year, how cool is that?
What stamps will appear in my passport in 2007?
My hands are stained with oily engine grunge and well torn up, however I finally feel like I’m getting to the bottom of my motor issues. I’m also fixing a bunch of electrical problems. Corrosion seems to be the root of all electrical evil here. The moist air really mucks things up.
So many people make New Year resolutions. Personally I think every day is a good day to make positive decisions, but today is good a day as any.
Anyone want to cut their dock lines in 2007?
Peace, love, and another year of good living!
