Sails

I’m going stir crazy staying in Panama, I want to sail far. I’m toying with the Idea of visiting Costa Rica in a few weeks.

I went through all my sails yesterday. I have 2 Yankees, an extra main, and jib. My extra main needs a bit of work, and my extra jib is “Hank-on” and will not fit on my roller furling. I’m going to try and get those sails in order soon.

This morning I’m taking my main down and bringing it in for repairs (not too much work).

I have a line on some bottom paint, and I’ll be off as soon as my sail is out of the shop, hopefully by Monday. Then I’ll careen Namaste on the beach in Espirito Santo. A lot of people have asked that I take pictures, I will.

I can’t wait to start shooting fish again.
