Land and Sea

A beautiful day sailing!

I had a steady 10 knots of breeze form the South West today. I motor sailed for half the day, and sailed the rest. The crossing took about 10 hours.

My fishing line got tangled in my prop today and I had to go swimming in the middle of the bay of Panama, I lost a great lure, ARGGG, the one I caught the Dorado on.

The water is crystal, the sky blue, and the sounds of the city have been replaced by the singing of birds. The locals here are quite friendly, smiles and waves fill the day. Occasionally a local ponga will approach Namaste with a basket of fish, fruit, or lobster for sale or trade. This is the pace I like living my life. I want to grow old living the island life, the question is “where”?

It’s getting late. My refrigeration is still out so I’m going to go spear fishing before the sun goes down.

Cheers everyone, I hope your day was as sweet as mine.
