I got the Panama blues!

Well my plan is to split for Isla Contodora on Sunday. I’m supposed to get my Fedx tomorrow, and if that’s the case, I’m off like a prom dress.

I grabbed this satellite image of Isla Contodora from Google earth, pretty cool eah?

I feel like I get weak when I’m in a port like this (big city). I eat worse, exercise less, and don’t enjoy my days the way I’ve become accustomed too in the islands. It’s like peace doesn’t exist here. Everyone is looking to make a buck, cars & people move too fast, and life just feels “Thin”. Not to mention the fact I can’t afford it.

I’ve started editing my next DVD which is really putting a big smile on my face. I really enjoy going through my old footage and documenting my story. My new Laptop (Dell Inspiron E1505) is awesome. I even digitized some HDV footage that I shot in the San Blas and the image quality is amazing. I’m bidding on a new HDV camera (Sony HDR-HC1) tonight on ebay. It’s pretty much the last of my money, but what the hell, this is what I’m doing, and I really want to do it in High Definition.

My friend Aki has returned to Panama. I thought he was going to Ecuador but life got in the way. He found out his best friend has terminal cancer and flew back to Japan yesterday. He is hoping to talk him out of the hospital, and asking that he and his wife spend the summer in the Las Pearlas on his sailboat “Liberty”. Life is such a delicate thing it amazes me that so many of us sell it for so little.

I hope everyone is well and happy.

It’s good to be back online.

Peace, Love, and Liberty.

Alex
