Land and Sea

Last night was a bit tough.

The ITCZ (Doldrums) have moved quite north. Many squalls last night, and not as much sleep. I spoke to the local weather man on the SSB this morning. He sez “hang tight for a few days. There is a lot of convective activity (Lightning & Squalls) between 8, and 5 degrees north (The ITCZ)”. I’ll head for the Pearlas Islands (Where they shot survivor) in the morning for a change of scene, and wait for weather.

Today I checked the oil, changed the transmission fluid, cleaned the water-maker filter, and built a little light for when I’m shooting video at night.

I slammed my middle finger on my left hand, and now I’m in the process of loosing 2 finger-nails, not to mention the 6 or so infected cuts on my hands from the barnacles. Remember the old saying “Wooden Ships & Iron men”? I have a plastic ship, and right now I’m feeling like Jello. I need some time at sea to get back in the swing of things. I’ve gotten soft being in Panama for 3 months.

It’s nice to be on the boat most of the day cooking, and making water again.

Cheers everyone.

Peace, Love & Lightning!!!!
