Land and Sea

Making a list, slashing it twice

So I have made this huge list of everyting I want to do before I leave in a few weeks and I just realized it will never happen.

Ive started really slashing the list. I need a new starting battery, mine is toast, but you know what, I never use it. I{ll pull the battery out later today and trash it. I{m focusing on getting my navagation system up and running. I{m also waiting on a new regulator and alternator to arrive from the states.

Food, food, food, what to do? I have been driving myself crazy with provisioning lists. I threw them all out last night and decided to get back to the basics. I make my own bread, so Ill bring alot of flower and yeast. I will also bring alot of rice, oatmeal, coffee, canned tuna, and granola. Thats about it. I will bring some fresh veggies and eggs but they will only last a few weeks. I hope my new fishing tackle and hand lines pay off, Im really counting on fresh fish.

I really have to take a moment to thank all the people that help pull this crazy website off.

My college buddy Ken (Just had his 3rd. girl), handles all of the shipping of the DVD s, something I definatly cant do from out here, and David Wilson (Super Genious (www.idavid.com))does all of projectbluesphere.com webwork. This site would not be possibe without the rest of my team, I feel very fortunite, Thanks guys.

I also have to thank all of the subscribeors who have donated to keeping this site alive. I would not have made it through the canal without the help of these people. My dream to sail around the world is being shared by many people, I will do all I can to bring the expierance to the web and capture it in my next DVD.

Well I have a million things to do, Im going to the French Embassy and Im going to get some info on the Marquesas.

Cheers all.

Peace, Love, and Coconuts.
