Land and Sea

Transiting Tonight.

This will be my last log update from the carribean.

The pilot will board namaste tonight around 17:00 and I will uplock the first 3 locks of the Panama Canal. I will spend the night anchored in the lake with my 4 line handlers and cross Panama in the morning and down lock 3 locks late tomorrow afternoon.

Everything really seems to be turning around. I´ve recieved like $500.00 in donations. One of the subscribers has covered a new Yamaha 2hp outboard, and another is donating his old laptop to the cause. I´m so touched that people love the site as much as they do, and are willing to support the project. It really means so much to me, REALLY.

I´m pretty stressed today. The Folks at the Panama Canal Yacht Club are making things as difficult as they can. I really dont have any nice things to say about this place, everyone seems to have a really bad attitude, there hand out, and bleed the cruisers who pass for every dime that they can. It makes sense though, noody visits here because they want too, it´s all about transiting.

There is a live webcam you can watch at the canal

Peace, Love, and THE PACIFIC BABY!!!!!!!!!
