Land and Sea

All is well

All is well, however I had a bit of a rough trip. Twenty miles out of the San Blas I was hit by a substantial Choko Sano. I was sailing along in 12 knots of wind. I went below to put on some shorts when Namaste was knocked down. We were blasted with 48 knots of wind. I had all sail up with no reefs. I ran outside and cut the main & jib, and ran forward to douse the stay. The waves picked up and grew quickly. My 2 passengers did well but stayed in the cabin. All my books, videos, CD´s, and food were on the cabin soul. The storm lasted for about 45 minutes. Over the next 2 days I went through 2 substantial squalls, both around 35 knots.

It´s nice to be back in Cartagena, there are many familiar faces.

I´ll write a detailed log within the next few days, I´m still trying to clean up the boat.

I have to be a bit honest, I came to Cartagena to chase a girl, hoping it goes well.

Peace, Love, and reef early!!!!!
