Land and Sea

Last Day in Cartagena

Well it’s time to move on to another place. Lou and I took a ride up to the monastery overlooking Cartagena today to snap some final pictures, and we met Don Pablo, a 3 toed sloth. What a cool animal, he was sooooooo mellow, and likes to eat all kinds of fruits (slowly…, really slowly).

The weather really doesn’t look like it’s going to change much; I’m expecting 15-25 knots of breeze, and 8-10 foot seas. I hope Lou doesn’t get sick, I hope I don’t get sick either. The good news is it will be a following sea. I met some people who showed up this morning from the San Blas, and they said it was murder beating into the weather, but going downhill wouldn’t be so bad.

I’ll send another text update from the Islands, pictures might be tough with my bandwidth restrictions, but I’ll send some small ones.

Hope everyone is well, take care.

– Alex
