Land and Sea

In Route To Columbia

Have you ever woken up on a 28’ sailboat, 200 miles off the Columbian coast and thought, “What the hell am I doing here”? Perhaps I have too much time to think. So many of you have asked me why I’m doing this, I still wonder at times, it’s kind of surreal out here, yet very cool.
The auto pilot broke free again, and I had to do a better fix. The engine alarm also went off, I was loosing oil pressure. It took a few hours in the engine room, but I found the leak and fixed it, not my happiest day on the sea, only suffered a few burns & cuts. The engine room is no fun at sea.
