The Canon T3i baby!

IMG_8806

Well, big news, I bought a Canon T3i day before yesterday.

A friend is helping me produce the next film and you’ll see his name on it (Charles Lanham). Chuck is also looking for a gr8 deal on a solid 2 cabin cruising boat, so if anyone knows of something please let us know. Preferably on the  USA west coast.

Yesterday I went to a seafood festival in a nearby village (Jose Pobre)  to take photographs. I’m posting a few so you can get an idea of the local flavor of my neighborhood and its people. IMG_8915

Since I’ve had the camera I haven’t been able to stop taking pictures, it’s awesome! I bought it with the upgraded 18-135mm lens. I think it will be quite versatile as my zoom lens. I am looking for a fast 50mm (1.0 – 1.3) but for now I can get started.

IMG_8908Having a video camera with proper glass is essential to what i want to do. I want the next film to be beautiful, as well as informative and inspiring.  I’ be getting to filming ASAP!

For the immediate future you will see a bloom of photographs on Project BlueSphere as I really enjoy photography as opposed to just taking snapshots.

My iphone died as a phone about a week ago and I’ve just been using it as a camera but I think its time  lay it to rest.

I actually don’t have a phone at the moment and I enjoy it.  I know I should get a new one incase i need to inform someone of a dragging boat or something. I’ll probably get a cheapie in my trip to colon this week as I have to buy a new IMG_8925cruising permit. For the moment I’m enjoying the peace of not have cellular waves invading my space and eating my brain.

The seafood festival was a lot of fun. It took about 20 minutes on the bike to get IMG_8889to Jose Pobre. There were probably 500 or more people and the young girls were all competing to be this years queen.  There was a really good vibe about the air. This is the biggest party in the area all year, there was a ton of live music, dancing, and drinking.

I met my French friends Mel, Fab, and Thomas. We went to a restaurant and has some pulpo (octopus) and a few beers.

Parades and beauty queens passed and kids banged on anything they could find to add to the rhythm of the evening…, good times.

I was planning on staying late but WOW, did the rain come, and in buckets. I was supposed to meet other friends after 7 but i got pretty cold and returned to Splendid with the intention of returning for dinner. Talk about motor biking in the rain, WOW, torrential!

IMG_8927I ended up at Hanz’s restaurant for dinner. We were the only ones around and he made me a nice chuleta (pork chop) with rice and salad. We had a few beers and watched the rain as he did his nightly ritual of lighting the oil lamps.

We chatted for a few hours as we watched the rain pummel the sea and I let my bike get a good wash.

I must say I really do love this place and I’m quite happy to be able to bring you images and video.

Cheers

Peace, Love, Coconuts

  1. Glad to hear you got a new camera Alex. I’ve watched your previous 2 videos a 10 times and look forward to seeing your newest adventure. Thanks so much for sharing and allowing us land locked dreamers come along on your journeys.

  2. Yeah, I’m uber-jazzed to get back to filming. I want to get my ship together and get out to San Blas ASAP. However I ordered a bunch of accessories for my camera on Ebay and need to wait for them to arrive.

October/November are the “suckie” (wind from the North) months here in Linton, much better to be in the San Blas. I need to break the connection to hardware & paint stores/motorcycle and just go. I do need to make sure to get a new spear for the gun and enough provisions for a few months. My batteries are also fried (10.2 v this am) and need to do something about that. Starting battery is new but not so much juice for the autopilot.

As far as chartering there are some “things” going on. The Kuna congresso has decided they don’t want charters going on any more. This doesn’t effect charters coming from my website as “friends” coming to visit are one thing. It does effect me being able to pick up charters in Por-Vaneer.

Also I just herd Colombia is not allowing backpacker boats to check in/out of the country. The airlines have been trying to “poo-poo” the sailboat trips for quite a while as they are loosing business. To a backpacker however an hour on a plane for $300, or a week adventure on a sailboat for $475 is a no-brainer.

I’m not stressing it. If the chartering dollars dry up here it may just be time to move on. A lot of my friends are freaking a bit as they really rely on the business. Their lives require more money than mine does so for me its not such a big issue. When I have thoughts of the world economy collapsing I know that Splendid and I will flourish as many will wither. I’m really into not being very dependent on the system and self-sufficient.

This all being said the kuna seem to make this decision every year and it never changes anything. If you give them a couple bucks it seems to make it all okay. I don’t really agree with that concept though. It makes me feel like they are prostituting their culture for money. The Colombians are getting a bit greedy though. It is so expensive to visit Colombia now and I think they are cutting their on throats on the sail/tourism thing. People seem to be less enchanted with visiting Colombia now that Club Nautico is in ruins (Government greed), and cruising permits are so complicated & expensive.

It is so nice to have the option to pick the anchor up and leave with your home when you want to. Governments and sometimes even neighbors can get a bit sour.

The good news is I can get to what I love to do, make sailing movies :)

    Peace

  3. I am glad to hear about your new camera. I have not figured out how to use all the bells and whisles on mine yet?

  4. Hope the T3 works out. A lot of these cams have rolling shutter issues, that can make things a bit sketchy for people like us that like to film the sea – so much motion and any panning causes stuff to go ugly fast. Not sure if the 5Dmk2 has that issue, but that cam is too expensive for me anyway.

Currently using the little cousin the T2i – and loving it, aside from the restrictions in fast-pans or lots of motion.

Make sure you have a premium class 10 SD in there. Also, these cams overheat fast in the tropics when shooting video… let us know if that happens with the T3i!

  5. @ Gary….I can not find that listing. Thank you though.

@ Alex….Thanks for the props buddy. Don’t sweat the small stuff. We will figure out a way to get you the spear, provisions and batteries.

Those pics look great. I love the detail. You have a good eye. I especially like the lanterns.

@Devon….I too have the T2i. I love it but need to learn more about it. It will just take time. I have Transcend 32 class 10 SD cards. They rock. Very fast and hold tons of pics and video.

  6. Alex,

I know your looking for quality glass but I do have a used 1.8 cannon 50mm lens I could ship out to you if you would like. I am upgrading to the 1.4 in the next week or so, that leave my little nifty 50mm without a home.

  7. Devon,

I did read about the overheating with the T2i, however my friends with them have no complaints. I’m looking at a few options for follow focus/zoom. Check these out:

    http://www.ebay.com:80/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280734763023&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/280728253518?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

The T2i wouldn’t work for me for the simple reason you can’t flip the screen around and I’m usually filming myself.

My background/education is shooting 35mm & super 16mm film (Panavision/Arriflex), and I’ll most likely master on the T3i HD 24 frame option rather that 30. I like the look of film when you pan it gives it less of a lifelike feel and more of an artistic (film) feel. However that isn’t what I was getting with the flip, I was getting really bad jerking on pans. The pans look really good to me with the T3i, but it does need some light.

My philosophy with getting into a DLSR rig vrs a standard video camera is primarily being able to shoot through decent glass. I know DLSR has some design flaws as the SLR isn’t designed for motion. Zoom and focus control is a big issue, however with a rail system & matte box I’ll be pretty comfortable controlling my image even though the camera will be a bit bulky. I’m old school, I like filming manually, I cant describe how much I loathe digital zoom control and auto focus. When I watch a film I’m always watching the operators hand.

Also I want to invest mostly in glass, matte box, ect. A body is about $500.00 and fairly easily replaced. I’ve gone through wayyyyyyy too many video cameras over the years to ever buy a decent one again. Hence shooting with the flip, which is gr8 but I don’t want it as my “A” camera if you know what I mean. With the DLSR rig if my body takes a dump, it’s not that big of an issue. Hopefully Canon South America will take care of me for the year guarantee they have promised.

I have a drawer full of wide angle lenses and camera crap that is all proprietary to one camera or another and I just don’t want to go through that anymore. I’m going to give it all away to a local camera shop and put that jumbled nightmare in my past. My second film ends in the Marquesas because my expensive SONY HD camera took a crap after a few months with moisture issues. I never brought it in the rain and it lived in a pelican case full of dry packs. Sony wouldn’t fix it for me after 5 months and I vowed never to buy another SONY product again.

For me, DLSR was the right choice, i know its not for everyone. The 5D mk2 would have been my first choice mostly because of the construction and durability of the body, It would do much better down here. However If I can get the next film out of the T3i body (year guarantee) I’ll be more than jazzed. I’m pretty hard on my gear as I’m always in pretty extreme (salty/wet) environments but I’m hoping for the best. Sailboats and cameras just dont go together.

Jeremy, I have no shame, I’m all over that 50mm f/1.8 It will be good for the narrative sections as I cant pull that much depth of field with the 18-135 f/3.5. I’m getting a lavalier mic and 24′ extension. I already ordered a shotgun for on-camera. The T3i internal mic BLOWS!

Chuck, was looking at SD cards today, going to buy one here as opposed to ebay. Transcend 32 class 10 SD cards are about $55 here I could save about $15 on ebay but after shipping and driving to get it its just not worth it. The T3i came with a 4gig card which I filled up pretty quickly. We all have to find Chuck the right boat. He wants to pull out and get to cruising ASAP :)

My OCD is blooming and I’ve got the film on the brain. I’m actually scripting this one out and approaching it totally differently. I’m hoping to broaden my market and get it to more people, not just the cruising community. Less is the new more guys. Time for minimalistic/good karma sailng/living. No more super consuming, just healthy food and cocktails!

The books that got me started, “sailing the farm”, “voyaging on a small income”, “the cost conscious cruiser”, are still as wonderful as they always were. I recommend these books all the time. My philosophy is a bit more complicated (not by much) than Annie Hill (Voyaging on a small income) would recommend but I think it works better for the times. I actually got pretty drunk with Annie years back on the Pacific side of Panama at her husbands birthday party, she’s a hoot!

Anyway. I just got back from 3 hours riding in the rain. I had to go to Colon and buy a new cruising permit, $200.00 for the year. It’s not like the Bahamas tho, if you check out of the country for a week it expires, I gave the port captain an ear full today.

And I couldn’t seem to force myself to buy another phone, maybe next time :)

    Cheers.

  8. I got here from the Cheoy Lee site, looking to ask questions about a 40 Midshipman. We have one and it looks like you do as well. If you’ve got a minute I’d love to chat about an issue we have.

Also, the guy in the slip next to us (for the past 15 years) has a Vancover 44 he’d like to sell. He had it built back about ’84 or so, I think it’s maintained fairly well. It’s located on the Texas coast. He’s looking to get $125K, probably not a bad price for the boat, but out of most people’s budgets.

  9. My budget is not that high. It is more like $20k.

@reynishl….Ad expired. I guess that one wasn’t for me.

Alex as directed me to some nice 35′ Coronado sailboats from Portland to Seattle. I have found a Pearson 323 in Manndeville, LA. A 41′ Morgan Out Island in Rhode Island. But it will be easier if the boat is on the west coast.

  10. Ha, my iPhone had a little change of heart and came back 4 the moment :) Somebody needs to jump on that t37, AWSOME boat!

  11. the tayana is about 30 mins from here and i could look it over if there is serious intrest….i am not a surveyor, but an experienced captain…reasonable delivery also….G

  12. alex, i just missed a delivery from panama to new caladonia area for us @#$%……maybe one from mexico to panama comming up…G

  13. alex, i just missed a delivery from panama to new caladonia area for us @#$%……maybe one from mexico to panama comming up…G

  14. Gary, keep me in mind for any paid deliveries. Who would want their boat delivered to new cal, that’s cheating :)

  15. marcos had delivery, but he is getting married & he thought i was still chartering thru oct. didn’t you have namaste delivered and you flew quantas?……………G

  16. You got me Gary, I flew across the Pacific and had a real man deliver my boat ;)
I’m at Panamarina doing laundry this am, remember the place?

I found a small washing machine I could put in the aft head for $90.00, I think it would save some money. Every trip here for laundry ends up being about $20.00. I spoke to a local woman here who has one, it looks pretty beat up but she’s been running it for a family for 5 years. They are a bit funny looking, one compartment for washing, the other for spinning.

If anyone is interested in that Tayana have the mast surveyed. Wood masts are good (easily fixed anywhere in the world), but do require some maintenance. And they look damn good :) I’m wondering how difficult it would be to build out a second cabin for Chuck? The T37 is a gr8 cruising boat for sure!

After further surveying my electrical system I certainly took some lightning when I was gone with my Momma D. When I get up in the morning my system is at about 10.4 volts :( I checked on replacing my batteries here 4x Trojan T-105’s will be over $900.00. I found Everready golf cart (6v) batteries at Price Smart (like cosco) for $100.00 each. I’m going to get 4, and if I can swing it I’ll get another two shortly. If I’m editing a film I’ll need the power.

    Tech notes:
I also need to either get into another computer or master the next film on stranded definition. I have to make the decision soon as I need to know how to master my video. I’m thinking building a windows box would be the cheapest way to go for HD. I used to build my computers all the time when I had access to a fries, what a cool store that was, haven’t been to one in a decade or so but I’m sure they are still around. If I decide to go standerd definetion it will be cool for web (download), but limits possibility of larger distribution. I’m also looking at used macbook pro’s online. If anyone knows about hardware processing for full HD video please contact me so I can bend your ear. At the end of the day I’m thinking standard definition is fine. I wont need as much hardware or storage and my real market is all online. I also swore on the last film that I would never master in HD again but my hardware was not so powerful and in the last 4 years processing has got much faster.

Anyway I’m rambling. Kind of boring here doing laundry this early, no one else around.

    Cheers

  17. yea i remember panamarina…..2003 cruising in a rental car, and thought i was about 4 mi. inland . through the jungle i spotted sailboat masts (holy hosenpher) and thought i was having a 70’s flashback. it was my first time in panama and i did not know about it….got a salmon/dungeness charter in the am..gnite……G

  18. You gotta film in full HD. For online stuff, yeah convert down to SD, but always have an HD version available for future release. The difference is awesome and I’m sure the content you’re going to film will be well-worth the investment in HD.

For my music videos and home videos, I use Sony Vegas HD, the $100 version. It’s fantastic, feels like pro-level software, has a lot of nice features for not a lot of money. My computer is a Core2Duo (only 2 cores) and it processes HD no problem. Everyone says you need at least 4 cores, but I don’t think so. One trick helps is to get a newer video card that has tons of ram and can process CUDA code. They help lighten the load on your cpu, epsecially for the realtime preview window. Rendering goes faster, too.

The other trick is too have as much ram as possible.

I recently bought one of these:
    http://www.balvanzenterprises.com/MiniDVStabilizerPro.html
and while not necessarily as good as a steadicam, it works well once you’ve practiced with it. Makes a huge difference when walking about or moving.

    peace,

  19. That damn T37 got me drooling indeed…. Wrong side of the globe though. Doh!

Building your own editing computer is the way to go. And it got real easy when XP showed up (I used to built P3 machines on win98 with ide raid arrays… and not missing it!). Then Dv avi’s were a breeze, but I don’t now much about HD requirements. But I’m sure a desktop would be an amp guzzler. But definitely edit and keep your own master in its native format (for archiving) (there’s a setting in premiere that renders the timeline without recompressing) and then export that to whatever need be.

Little steadycams are great. A friend has a steadycam Jr. and I’ll see if he’s willing to let it go. It got kicked by a camel in Ancient Petra (a whole other story) but he got it back together. He used it for everything…a great tool.
    Cheers,
    Peter

  20. Dave,

It would be hard to pull me away from editing on Premiere. I started with Premiere about 10 years ago after working on an Avid machine. It’s like second nature to me and I’m lightning fast on it.

After sleeping on it I will master on HD. I had a really bad experience editing the last film in HD. I had one of the first duo cores on an XT system with 2 gigs of ram. My timeline was about 90 minutes and It seemed I was working 20% of the time, and rendering 80% of the time, frustrating as hell and a real killer for creative energy. I edited it in Tokyo in an apartment where I had full time power. Working with a feature length timeline gets cumbersome and really taxes the system, unlike a 20 minute project. I like working with 6-8 layers of video (depending on EFX & titles) and I start my project with 16 tracks of audio. The more powerful the processing, the less time I’ll be rendering.

I did a load test on my batteries, and two of them seem okay. I’m going to buy new batteries tomorrow, but I’m going to keep my two old Trojan T-105’s (210 amp hours) seperated form my new system and feed it 100watts of solar. My intention is to solely use this power for charging camera batteries and dedicate it to my editing machine. The end result will be a film produced using 100% green power. Some may think its silly but I’m all about the good karma & Love of my film.

My macbook gets a bit “jerky” playing back full frame HD. It’s a macbook with a 2Ghz
duocore and 2 gigs of ram. I’m trying to look online to figure out how much RAM it will accept. I think its 2 gigs. From my test tho I seem to be okay in my timeline, I’ll have to see as I add more video to it. I don’t necessarily have to play back full screen but it would be nice.

The little steady cams do seem nice. I’m going to hold off on a rail/follow focus system for the moment. I want a substantial part of the next film underwater. A housing for the T3i is uber-expensive so I’m looking at buying a GoPro (gopro.com/products/). I want to cover spear fishing & anchoring techniques. I want to teach people the proper way to anchor as it seems to be such an issue. I will make this section of the film free online as it is just so important.

I did a silly thing yesterday. I ran out of diesel and had to bleed my system. I havent bought fuel since I filled up in Colombia over a year ago. I hold about 230 gallons of fuel with my on-deck supply. I bought just 30 gallons yesterday and it was $140.00, outch! I’ll get another 150 gallons before i go to the San Blas as i don’t know how long I’ll stay out there.

Well that’s it for this morning, going for a swim.

    Cheers.

  21. ecuador sold fuel for $1.03 last time i was there, and venezula it under a buck………go south young man go south..rio, amazon, terre del fuego, all great subjects for a video…G

  22. BTW: I meant to say Congrats on the new camera. I’m more than a little jealous. 8*)

Yeah, I think the 2 gigs was your limiting factor on your earlier film. Nowadays, you can get 4 or more cores with uber tons of ram for not a lot of money. Eh, I know, money is tight so everything is a lot.

I like the idea of green power for the project. Not a ‘silly’ thought at all.

What kind of music do you want??

    peace,

  23. Dave’ we’ll chat about music 4 sure.

I’m on a bus for the first time since I bought the bike, arrrggggg, I got a ride in with a friend who is returning back around midnight and will bring the batteries I got at price smart (cisco). The total bank is 440 amp hours @ 12v. I’m going to add two more at some point bringing the bank up to 680 amp hours. I’ll run the old batts for the movie. Also picked up a 32gb data card 4 the camera.

    Cheers

  24. Alex,

The answer to your editing workflow lies in http://www.cineform.com/

Many years of fiddling with HD and trust me this is the answer. It ain’t cheap, but i might have a spare license to drop you. I will go through my records and see what I can dig up.

Peace, Love, and Full HD 1080p!
    Adam

  25. Adam

Cineform looks interesting for sure. I’m going to download and try the free version. I’m all about full HD I’m planning on capturing some beautiful images :)

    Gary,
If I had the money I’d fly to Hawaii, buy the Gulfstar and engine, and put the boat together, AWESOME DEAL!!!!!!!!! Chuck, if you could pull this off I think you’d be pretty happy after restoring the boat.

Here is a better link to the boat: honolulu.craigslist.org/mau/boa/2593606935.html

  26. You guys are killing me here. But in a good way. I did not think we would be finding quality boats that met my price this fast. I like them all…I want them all. I like the Gulfstar but worry about the cost of maintaining it. Fifty foot is a lot of bottom paint. I am not worried about the bright work or any of that. I can handle that stuff. Once I start cruising I will have a limited budget (Army retirement check) for a family of three.

I am currently in Afghanistan. Making money to purchase this boat. I get home in mid January. I am thinking I will have the money and time in February or March. I have made some poor financial choices in the past so I cannot borrow money. We can revisit this at a later date.

I am sorry if I was misleading. That was never my intention. I want to be cruising now but it is not feasible. Thank you all for your help. I (we) will find the right boat.

  27. Chuck, don’t stress it, its good when we all dig around for boats, hopefully a new owner will find the right boat. On the Gulfstar listing the guy asked that no “dreamers” contact him, I guess that means people with not enough money? I never understood people who buy sailboats and run them into the ground. Maybe he should have done a little dreaming himself?

I think everyone has made bad financial choices in life. I vowed never to ask for credit again over a decade ago, just bad juju, its good to live within our means.

No Dreamers? It makes me think of when I bought my first boat. I had little money, I was a few years fresh out of collage, and just broke up with a woman I was with for 11 years (my hi-school sweetheart). I had big dreams and needed a place to live, I wanted a sailboat.

I knew sailing as I had a boat with my father in college (not a good experience). I saw a few delapeted boats in storage area behind a Yacht Brokerage place in Marina del Rey California. The brokerage place was booming (early 90’s) and selling lots of big hunters. The owner said I could have a look. I came across a mid 70’s Ericson 27 I liked. I went back a few times and just sat on it. The broker wanted 10k, it was worth 7 with an atomic 4 gas engine.

I offered him a grand, $250.00 a month (he holds the paper), and the rest in a balloon payment at the end of three years, he took it. I knew I was paying more than I should, but it was a good (poor) financial decision. People were telling me things like “The two best days for a boat owner is the day he buys his boat, and the day he sells it”. I learned early on not to listen to people. These were the same people who told me I paid too much. For me the best day has been the day I got into sailing and every day since has been a magic carpet ride! The day I sold that boat tears were streaming down my face, I fell in love with sailing on that boat and lived on her for nearly 5 years.

The point is buying a boat isn’t a financial decision, it is one that should be made with Love and dreams. The sailboat you find will not only be your home but a ship that will guide you through life’s path. There is a reason captains of past have chose to go down with their ships. There is a bond between man (some men) and their ships that is quite strong.

Okay, so who is going to rescue that Tayana 37? Surely one of you “dreamers” is willing to sell his expensive SUV for that beautiful Tayana and sail off?

It’s been my experience that you most certainly should dream, and more importantly embrace the day you realize them.

    Cheers.

  28. chuck no problem…i look around all the time anyway and dream…….best you do not go in debt and try to cruise……..there will be more deals…….G

  29. I’ve been trying to inquire about the Gulfstar 50, and have had no response. I was asking if I could see some pictures of the interior (to judge the condition roughly), knowing he mentioned interior needed work.
Maybe thinking I can by a gulfstar for $17500 makes me a dreamer? :)

  30. Hi Alex i had to respond to your last post about dreaming.
Over the las three years i have taken your advice and started to live with in my means.
Over the years i have made a very good income. It seemed that the more i made the more i spent. almost every other day i would get mail asking my if i wanted more credit. It was almost like they knew that the more i would make the more credit i would say yes to. As my income increased i purchased a beautiful expensive home, a $60,000 dollar truck a Hunter Sail boat way beyond my means and all the other STUFFthat we don’t need in life. I also have to say i never owned any of this STUFF. i was just in a place were i could afford the payments. In 2008 the Market crashed. I lost most of my future retirment savings, my business, my home and my boat.
There were also other life factors that contributed to this but in a nut shell i was in the the same place finacialy where i was when i was 18 years old and starting out on my own.
Today life is totaly different. sure i rent a place i can afford. I drive a used truck and the boat had to go. I am for the first time in life in the best finacial postion then i have ever been and have no presure. I am in a place in life where i can actually begin to turn my dreams of sailing the blue water a reality.
I have looked at the Tayana 37 and many other boats that i know i could go and get a loan for. I could be sailing in a couple of days. What stops me is your posts on debt and owning nothing. It is for that reason that i choose to keep my new found freedom and wait for another year until i am in the place where i can go out and pay cash. Thanks for your insight and your vision. It is because of you that my dreams are slowly becoming a reality.

  31. Curtis,

Man it’s always good to hear Project Bluesphere had a positive impact. Its hard to go wrong living small and stepping forward with your heart. If you only make good energy, only good energy will flow your way. I’ve learned this lesson the hard way!

You know there are plenty of sailboats out there you could get for a couple grand and go. I would have taken my little Ericson across the Pacific no problem. It’s not about the boat, it’s about you, your journey, asking for little in life, and being healthy. It’s good to hear others out there phuck’t up as well, I thought it was just me :)

Who’s going to go see the Tayana?

I spent the day cleaning out and painting a locker in the main saloon. I’m moving my battery bank from the engine room to under the satee. I want better access to the batteries for maintenance. I’m also going to move my 12v distribution (+/-) in there as well as I really loathe working in the engine room. I made the call today to spend and extra $220.00 on two more batteries, the locker calls for more batteries and If I’m going to be editing a film I’m sure i can use the power. I’ll have a 660 amp bank, not too shabby :)

I’ll be broke soon but I just got a new cruising permit (1 year) and I’m going in the next few weeks for a 6 month extension on my visa. Even if the chartering is dried up in the San Blas I’ll have paint and my video camera. It poses a good opportunity to go to paradise for a few months and make a film :)

    Peace, everyone.

    Time to crash.

  32. Alex, Curtis and the rest of you…. I love this site and all of you… It all touches my heart and you all give me the courage to go for the dream. And I (we) shall… even though everyone around me thins it’s crazy!
