Project BlueSphere

Land and Sea

Chores

Today was the day to mow the lawn, or in my case, clean the bottom. I have an awesome hookah (sea breath) system with 50’ of hose. It makes the process so much easier. It took me a few hours but we have a clean bottom.

Buddy and Gina went back to Florida yesterday. They were fantastic guests and I hope they enjoyed being here as much as Sam and I enjoyed having them, ‘thanks guys’!

Sam and I are going to spend a few more days in the San Blas before returning to Linton. Sam will be returning to the states around the 10th for about 3 weeks, what will I do with myself? I know, work on the boat as usual! I always have projects and when Sam and Guin are away I get ultra focused and knock out the man hours. When they return I’m planning for us to spend a solid 4-6 months out here living simple and spending our days in the water. Guin and I share the same passion, we want to swim. It will be fun when she is older, perhaps we will hunt together? She is a tattle-tale, If she sees a big fish she lets me know I should shoot it. She likes breaded fish nuggets.

Buddy and Gina brought us seasons 1, and 2 of Dexter. We’re hooked and finished nearly an entire season in a day. Good thing we don’t have cable. It might get in the way of spear fishing.

Well that’s it for today. The sun is out and I’m going to go shoot something to eat.

Cheers.

  2. Well sounds like you are getting ready to go to work. So what’s the project list. I’m always interested in the “fixes” that you do to Splendid. 3 weeks, long time when you’re in love.

So let us know what’s on the list and by the way, is the best way to send you money through the “donations” link. Pat and I want to add a little something to your kitty.

    Talk with you later amigo…

  3. Capt Paul, a donation allways helps, donation buttion works best. I need to get some charters going, maybe backpacker tours or something. If not I’ll be off to the USVI’s after hurricane season to look for some work. The good thing is we dont have any expenses so a little goes pretty far.

I need to go to Panama city and buy some paint. I had water get into $400 in paint I was keeping it in a “so called” water tight container on the back deck. It was mothane, good paint, I’ll have to find someting like that from Dupont in PC. How is the new boat comming? Doing charters?

    Send me a pic.

  4. Alex:

She’s doing good. I’m up in MN for the Renaissance Festival up here. I’m a magician too. They’ve booked me for the past 20 years. Go figure. It’s a good stage gig.

Panacea is doing great. I’ve got my mate down there that lives in the marina and he’s keeping her safe and sound. Charters are slow, it’s summer. I’ll send you a pic or two. Which address do you want me to use, your old email, or what.

    Give Sam my best.
