Land and Sea

San Blas

Well…, we are off in the morning or later today. Humpty dumpty is all back together, our spirits are high, and we have visions of the San Blas islands dancing through our heads.

The weather along our route is good until about Friday/Saturday. The last few days may be light wind and squallie. We may head into Cartagena if the weather deteriorates and spend a week in Colombia.

Watch our spot I’ll be lighting at least one off a day.

Jamaica has been great but its time to go.

I dont think we will have internet access in the San Blas so updates may be limited until I get minutes for the sat phone. If we go to Colombia there is internet at Club Nautico.

Life is great, we are excited, and the sea is ours.

Thanks again to the friends that helped us through the transmission mess.

We will do the charter raffle drawing while we are at sea and announce the winner ASAP. Good luck everyone, Guin will be picking the name out of my straw sunhat.

Sail fare and live slowly.

  1. Alex,
Can I still get in on the Charter Raffle? A little late in the game but I’m feeling lucky! Thanks.

  2. Mike, if you can get your purchase in by midnight tonight it’s good. I’ll need the info before we take off at about 3am.

    Cheers.

  4. Got it, thanks Mike. One of our projects under way is to put all the names on paper and do the drawing. Good luck.

  5. We’ll be heading to Jamaica (on a big, noisy, crowded, cruise ship) in July. Do you have any advice on what not to miss, there?

Glad to see you heading back to your favorite place! God Bless!!!!!!!!!!
