good for you brother! Yeah, I don’t have so much time for all the noise anymore.

My only objective in life is to live free and simple with my wife. I know my blog isn’t so much about sailing anymore, its hard for me to go back and focus/write about the early stages of unplugging, that’s one of the reasons I brought Ryan on. We will get back to sailing with Eleanor but I need to make The Minimalist Sailor which will take me about a year. We don’t need so much money every month, but I do need to create a little income stream to pay for food and the cost of checking in, and out of the countries we want to visit.

Rudi, I don’t really trust long-term forecasting (over 4-5 days), but i do think it may be a long winter. I will prepare as much as possible :) I have to get down to Panama before hurricane season so my weather-window demands I go as soon as possible, I should be in NY now but just don’t want to leave home yet :(

You are such an inspiration on so many different levels!
Your path has given you such vision on what is truly important and what is “noise”. So much noise in the normal western life. Getting out is what allows one to shed the noise. Sailing is just the vessel (pun intended!) through which you have achieved such clarity. I’m on my way Buddy!!!
