Give me a week or so to coordinate getting Eleanor ready to go and I’d like to get as many people aboard to help as crew as possible.

JUST RECOVERING from a few days with no rest :)

I’ve talked to HR at work and I’m all good for taking off time. I’m also set with gear & cash. Just get in touch with me when you’re ready. :)

If you looking to cast off before the end of the year I have a bit of vacation time (two week’s) to use up with vacation money to spend. I must admit though I’m an arm chair sailor and have no experience. Most likely a last ditch goto if you’re in need. Because of job, i would need some notice to let my employer in-the-loop. Willing to learn though. Josh.

Just wanted to say I love the new website layout, although my membership isn’t working but I have emailed your support guys. I was catching up on your blogs over the last few days as I get closer to casting off myself (I have the boat now just need to liquidate the assets and I’m ready to go) and was thinking about how to keep your dream of helping others to live as minamilist sailors alive and at the same time make some extra money along the way. The experience you and Carla have at living on a budget, managing your boat maintenance, making cost effective, healthy and tasty foods and even using off the shelf DIY products instead of costly yachtie ones is valuable knowledge that others would pay for. Whether that be an e-book, printed book, “How to” video or charging a small fee for people to spend a week or so learning how you do it on board your lovely new Westie… I really think its valuable knowledge and would allow you to share your love of the concept whilst helping others and becoming self sustaining. Anyways, good luck on your voyage back south.

I’m not looking to make any money just having some crew to pat for their own food, and fuel. Eleanor will burn about 1.5 GPH when under power, so whatever that turns out to be. Hopefully we will have wind and can run for free as much as possible. You will need some rain gear and waterproof boots.

I would really like to help you bring the boat down to Florida and of course I would help pay for the fuel costs. Either drop me a line through the e-mail (andy@ocalagraphics.com) or call me at 352-470-9768 if you’re interested in having me. Just let me know the time frame and the amount of money you require. (Is $500 to $600 in the ball park?) Really, the only thing I have to watch out for is to take time off of work – I have to give them about 2 weeks lead time to take 1 week off.

It would be really an honor to spend time on your boat, helping you. Been an avid fan since 2008.

Thanks,

Andy
