I've had no Internet for a few days so I just saw your comment. As soon as I asked Alex if he remembered Kirk Hansen his face lit up and he started telling me who you were and how you met and I read your comment to him as well. He also has wonderful memories of you and asked me to tell you he misses you. When are you gonna come and see Splendid? It's all quite different now that he's a married man I bet but I think you'd still enjoy it : )

Klenk, are you Tincho? If so, congratulations on your wedding! And also, when are you guys coming?

Carla, Its been a long time since I have commented in the Log, although I read it fairly regularly to keep up on Alex and his adventures and life. In 2007 I read an ad where a guy by the name of Alex Dorsey was looking for people crazy enough to drop everything and pay him to stay on his 28 foot sailboat while he was in Panama. He and I talked on the phone and the next thing I knew I had tickets to Panama and was to meet up with a cab driver named Roosevelt who would get me on a plane to Contadora to meet Alex. My co- workers said my body would never be found – they were wrong. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I will never forget it. Today I read your Blog “Dream Big” and it gave me the same feeling I had all those years ago when I read Alex’s ad. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed your writing and how much it rings true. You and Alex are both passionate about your lives and from what I have read truly understand one another. Congratulations to both of you and thank you for a wonderful piece of writing.
