Too bad short of winning the lotto I’ll probably never own one. Although I did run across an unfinished kit for a reasonable price. It still takes a lot of capitol to spend $45,000 then put another $30,000 or so in to finish her. I love how they use wood for the deck and house and fiberglass for the hull. I’d love to get a job in their yard. I’ve also been looking at Alajuela sailboats a lot lately, the 33 is about the right size for me but the 38 is just a beautiful boat. I’d love to find a nice mark II version one day, even though they are still way north of my price range. I’d be interested in investing in the film with you.

Great read about the history and creation of the Panama Canal.
