I’m finding craig’s list to be the best option and may have found a ride, and I am a looser, pretty proud of it too :) I have a car to drive back so it works out well. I grew up in NYC so public transporation was never a problem. When I was young I used to make fun of my uncle because he never had a car, I get it now.

It seems that the mindset is, if you take public transportation, you’re a loser. Now I live in Portland, Or. and I could care less if I ever own another car.
Try Craigslist, or Pickup pal (http://www.pickuppal.com). I’ve found a ton of rides from both of them.
