ALWAYS BACKUP!!! Any disk will fail, even a mac disk. Remember- macs now run on intel pc’s… Go to MOZY.com for free 2gb backup!!! Offsite and peace of mind!!!

If this doesn’t work, email me and I will provide further instructions. Going forward, make sure you run spyware scan, windows updates, and disk defrag. Also go to filehippo and get cc cleaner…. cleans cookies, files, and the registry….

The one I am using right now cost me 323.00 and does all I need and I know it will be deep sixed in a year probably. Call me crazy but I stress a lot less now.

I did call the extended warentee dept, and was able to extend my warentee for $169.00 which I did :) I’ll call them in the morning and get an RMA number.

Computers and boats are such a big issue. As soon as I can afford it I’m upgrading to a toughbook, it’s really the only option. The only problem with Toughbooks is they are usually a generation or two behind in tech, and 2-3 thimes the price, you really are paying for the case but in a marine enviornment it really makes a differance.
