I gave your number to a guy named Chris that I docked next to in Venice. He is sailing down to Key West and needed some local knowledge as to where to anchor his 40 footer. You’ll LOVE his boat. Anyway just thought I’d let you know how he got to you. He was worried about the new restrictions for anchoring down there and I haven’t been down since they went into effect. We’re in St. Pete for a few days and then heading south. It’s been good out here. Great weather window.

I started project BlueSphere in May of 2003 on a 28′ WestSail “Namaste” and sailed her half way around the world. I sold her in Australia about a year and a half ago after single handing her across the Pacific. I spent a few months in Tokyo finishing up the last DVD, returned to the states and bought a 40′ Cheoy Lee midshipman “Splendid”. I also fell in love with a beautiful woman (Sam) who had a 4 year old daughter (Guin). We are leaving to go cruising in the next few weeks. Project Bluesphere is undergoing a new website which we launched about 4 months ago and are still working out a few kinks. My next film will be more of a “Family cruising adventure” and I will be doing charters as well in the next few months in the San Blas Islands of Panama (my favorite spot).Any other questions, please feel free to ask. If I dont answer, I’m sure someone else will. By the way, “Splendid” is in the Florida keys about to sail south.

You can also read the old news letters under the members menu. We are also about to launch “other cruisers” where you will be able to follow other cruisers which will have the same tech as I do. as well as share your videos on bluesphereTV which we are working on at the moment. Lots of good new stuff comming.

Are you the “lost soul”, bob’s old boat???Cheers.- Alex

They are about 12 buck most places. I use a site called northern brewer.com they have a very active forum too, very helpfull. another is beer-wine.com I could have sent my old hand capper with the package, dang it!! I bought a bench capper. In an effort to eliminate taking a thousand caps with you “out there” you may want to consider the flip top “grolsh” type bottles, I use them on all but afew of each batch, incase I need to give some away :) :) . They can be tough to come by, either buy a couple cases full or keep checking local stores for returns. Good luck, keep the brewiing questions comming!!

and most important the log most people usually use is they tell the position (where are you) and the weather and if sailing course and events.
since today I am new I cant figure out where the hell you are, especially since you are coming home to the boat, I thought you were on the boat. I watched all the videos. I live in port charlotte and know that anchorage by the bridge in ft meyers. I came thru that section of the ICW 1/2002.
Love is cool!

I was just checking out beer kits. After our wine is done I’m thinking of doing an 8 gallon batch of beer. Do you know if I can bottle it in wine bottles with corks?
