Wow, things are really rolling now!!! Chrissy is ready to leave now just to get past all the anticipation, planning and brainstorming crap!!! I have the roof half re-done, I have torn off the shingles and have it tar papered in, hoping to get the shingles on this week (and it is supposed to be in the 90's). then we can get on to pulling the boat out of the garage.
There is only so much I can do with the closing up of the house, until we are about 3 days away from leaving. No sense worring about that part now. I have been selling a bunch of stuff I linned up out by the road, (ditch dollars) about $140.00 so far, but the 2 dingys are still there, have had some lookers though, one is rigid and one is inflatable. Kind of leading up to a couple garage sales (re-scrambled brain) soon. Then on top of that I am stuck MOWING THE DAMN LAWN at least once a week, and I hate it (could you tell?) it takes about 3-4 hours, what a pain. I just think ahead to when I will be sick of pulling the anchor :) (not gonna happen soon). Chrissy is thinking bimini now (project list dammit). We did acomplish the biggest thing on her list last night though. 4 dressers and 2 closets full of clothes from the last twenty five years, we each took a garbage bag and started with the top drawer and worked down :) we won!!!!!!!! (3 bags each) Thinking "boat" in a reality kind of way is just soooooooo coooooool, can you tell what my brain must be like? Guess I'll leave it at that.
If someone has been there and done that (gotten "out there") I am open for advice.
